Australian sellers need to show their ABN and the GST charged on a tax invoice. This preset starts with both, so you do not have to add them yourself.

Sellers registered for GST get an invoice with the fields a tax invoice needs, without building the layout from scratch.

Buyers who need a proper tax invoice for their records get one with the company name and the GST amount shown clearly.

What the Australian invoice shows
Your ABN is set once in the template, and everything else comes from the Shopify order.
- Your store name, address and ABN

- Customer details and billing address, with company name

From the tax on the Shopify order. Tax comes through as its own line, and each item carries its unit price with and without tax, so the invoice matches what was charged at checkout.
If the ABN is stored against the order, for example in an order metafield written by a checkout app, it can be placed on the invoice like any other field.
Yes. You can open any order and generate its invoice, then email or download it. You can also select several orders and get one combined document with an invoice for each.
You can, but it may be simpler to keep a second invoice for other markets. There is no limit on how many templates you have, and automation conditions can decide which orders get which one.
