Who uses an invoice with barcodes

Some stores do not want a separate packing slip. This layout lets a single printed sheet cover the invoice and the fulfillment check.

Scan-to-verify packing

Packers scan each line as the item goes into the box, then drop the same sheet in as the invoice.

Small teams that print once

One document per order means one print job, fewer papers to match up and nothing left on the printer.

Products that look alike

The photo confirms what the item should look like and the barcode confirms it is the right one.

The barcode component takes any field from the order, so it can encode the product barcode, the SKU or another value such as a metafield. You choose the field in the editor.

Formats such as Code 128, EAN-13 and UPC-A, plus 2D types like DataMatrix and PDF417, among others. Pick the one your scanners read.

Many stores do, since the photo, barcode and quantity on each line give packers what they need. If you want prices hidden from the warehouse copy, a packing slip template is the better fit.

Yes, with PrintNode connected. An automation rule prints the invoice when an order reaches the status you set, and the document uses the latest order details even if another app changed the order after checkout.
