FieldsWhat you can put on a WooCommerce invoice
Order data
An invoice has to hold up in front of a customer and in front of an accountant, so it needs more than a list of what was bought. Every field is filled from the order itself, so nothing is typed twice. These templates can show:
- store details, address and currency
- billing and shipping address, company and phone
- customer details and order number
- line items with SKU, GTIN and quantity
- the variation ordered, with its parent product name
- price before and after tax, per line and in total
- coupons, fees and shipping as separate lines
- the total, payment method and order status
Custom values
WooCommerce stores run on plugins, and the data they write lands on the order. Both the order and each line carry their own meta data, so a value added by a checkout plugin, a subscription or your own code can sit on the invoice next to everything else.
